We are a young and adventurous couple living and working in Belgium. We have a young son who is 2 years old, and we share a passion for travel. Through our travels, we have discovered the beauty and diversity of different cultures, with a special admiration for the rich and colorful African style. We realized that Africa produces very durable and high-quality products that are in demand in Belgium.
At Bamba, we bring these unique and authentic African home decor items to Belgium. We carefully select each piece to ensure that we can offer you the highest quality.
We hope to inspire you with this and also to share a piece of our travel experiences and discoveries with you.

Our mission
- It is our mission to offer our customers a functional, high-quality, and sustainable product.
- We want to support local economies. That is why we exclusively purchase from local traders (or cooperatives) and ensure they receive a good, fair price for their goods. In countries where employment is low, we hope to provide an incentive for local entrepreneurs to secure an income in a fair and ethical manner.
- We want to operate sustainably, with attention to both people and the environment. Since our baskets are sourced from Africa, we strive to transport them exclusively by container ship, which is the most sustainable option for organizing long-distance transport. Additionally, we make use of recycled boxes or packaging materials as much as possible during shipping.
We select our baskets with the utmost care to ensure that they provide our customers with absolute added value in their interior.
